Seven Rivers Visitor Information
Current Visitor Guidelines
The Bravera Health approach to patient care depends greatly on engaging families to be part of the healing process. Visitors are welcome as long as the patient consents to receiving guests. Our visitation guidelines are based on guidance from the CDC and are in compliance with the No Patient Left Alone Act. These visitation guidelines help us maintain the safety of our patients, families and essential caregivers while providing for visitation.
Visitor Guidelines
- Each patient will be allowed to have a visitor for a minimum time of 2 hours per day. Visiting Hours are 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., 7 days per week.
- Each patient admitted to the hospital will be allowed one visitor at a time each day and that person may be rotated or changed during that day’s visiting hours. All visitors will be provided a laminated visitor pass that must be returned to the main lobby when they leave.
- Emergency room patients may have one visitor in the treatment room. The physician or charge nurse may limit visitation based on patient safety concerns. If visitation is limited at any time while in the emergency room, the patient will be allowed to have a visitor for a minimum time of 2 hours per day.
- Patients with visitor restrictions, such as those on isolation precautions including COVID 19, will be allowed a visitor for a limited time during the day. The visitor designated as an essential caregiver is required to follow proper isolation protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), for the safety of all concerned.
- The intensive care unit may have further restrictions due to limited capacity to accommodate visitors and based on the condition of the patient. The time of visitation and duration of the visit will be determined by the ICU director or charge nurse. Each patient will be allowed to have a visitor for a minimum time of 2 hours per day.
Outpatient Surgery Guidelines
- The main hospital entrance will open early Monday through Friday at 5:30 a.m. to allow for outpatients entering for tests/procedures and surgical patients arriving for their procedures.
- One caregiver or support person can accompany the patient if assistance is required. The caregiver or support person will be asked to wait in a designated area.
Screening:
- Visitors enter through the front lobby, where they will be asked a series of questions to be screened for COVID 19. Screening is required to enter the hospital.
What You Can Do:
- Wear a mask. They are required in all areas of the hospital.
- Perform hand hygiene frequently with an alcohol-based hand rub if your hands are not visibly dirty or with soap and water if hands are dirty.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
- Practice respiratory hygiene by coughing or sneezing into a bent elbow or tissue and then immediately disposing of the tissue
We also encourage our patients to connect with family and friends by using Facetime or another video communication app.
Patient Pass Code
Patients receive a pass code during registration. This code serves as authorization to disclose health information for purposes such as communicating results, findings and care decisions to family members and friends who are in possession of the pass code. It is the patient’s responsibility to provide the pass code only to the people he/she wishes to have that information disclosed to. The family member or friend seeking information will need to provide the pass code to the hospital employee in order to receive any information about the patient other than general condition. Pass codes cannot be used after discharge to obtain test results.
