Orthopedic Rehabilitation
Whether you are recovering from a broken bone, muscle injury or surgery, regaining mobility, strength, flexibility and endurance are a key part of your recovery. Every individual has different goals and expectations in recovery, so rehabilitation specialists provide a customized plan that incorporates the unique goals and abilities of each person.
At Bravera Health Seven Rivers, many patients have the option for inpatient medical rehabilitation after knee or hip replacement. Inpatient orthopedic rehab is a medically supervised program combining exercise, education, emotional support and ongoing maintenance to help you recover from any injury or surgery. Our goal is to help you return to a full and productive life, and our program is staffed by therapy and nursing teams with many years of experience. In addition to the utilization of exercise equipment and free weights, occupational therapists work with you on the activities of daily living, such as maneuvering around the kitchen and climbing stairs to ensure you are well-prepared for your return home.
Our approach encompasses more than just your physical healing. We focus on your overall well-being, physically and emotionally.
If you are not a candidate for inpatient intensive rehabilitation, outpatient physical/occupational therapists provide:
-
Education about your condition or injury, the healing process and how to prevent injury during recovery and in the future.
-
Various therapies including therapeutic exercises, ultrasound, biomechanics and myofacial release.
-
Motivation, support and assistance throughout your recovery.
The rehabilitation team includes knowledgeable, caring professionals who are dedicated to providing quality care and support, and helping you return to the activities you enjoy as quickly as possible.
